So I'm using Mail for my MobileMe account so I don't have to use webmail everytime...however when I do use Mail and then later log onto MobileMe to read the email there my inbox is completely cleared out. wtf?!?
Now w/ other email programs like Netscape Communicator and previous versions of Mail (I believe) there is always an option you check to "leave email on the server." That way if you're away from your computer you can still access your messages. For the life of me I cannot find this option on Mail or MobileMe. Anyone know what is going on here and how to prevent this from happening. I know its probably something silly I'm overlooking.

You are probably thinking of POP3 EMAIL. MobileMe is IMAP. So as long as you do not delete the mail you should see the same mail on all clients.

Ya, that makes sense. So why would my MobileMe inbox be getting wiped out? All I did was run Mail on my MBP to check to manage it...but then I'm at a different computer away from home and needed info on an email....and I had 0 emails in my box....only sent/drafts/deleted were left. What the heck is up w/ that?
