Just curious as 7,1 might go EOL sooner than we thought, so Apple might stop selling graphics cards.

I was curious if W5700X can support Crossfire or dual GPU support so I can pair them and get better performance for another 10yrs or so (and sorry I have never done a dual GPU before so I'm not sure if that's double the performance).

For instance, I play World of Warcraft and with 5700XT let's say I get 60fps. As the expansion comes out the graphics get better so my fps will go down gradually from 60fps to 40fps, 20fps, etc. in the same setting.

But if I have dual W5700X, would it still be at 60fps on my next expansion and 40fps on another expansion (sorry for the analogy but I'm just trying to understand the idea).

Thanks.

Not under macOS. But the W5700X can get close to 60 fps at 5k in most parts of WoW right now. A W5800X in the future would be even better.

Appreciate your response. It looks like using Crossfire is a rare instance and not the mainstream. If the software doesn't support it I don't see the reason for purchasing it.
