Hello everybody,

I now run Mac OSX 10.6 on a Mac mini,1.5 Ghz core solo. I would like to upgrade to a new mac mini server.
Since I am not educated to run servers and to maintain them, I was wondering if migrating to 10.7 Server would be easy. If not, I probably have to buy a mac mini server now, while still under Snow Leopard Server. Although I have an idea that the new mac mini server will be available soon (after Lion Server is released).

So basically I would like to know if it would be hard to migrate.
What would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely wait - It is only a month and should be cheaper.

10.7 server is an add-on to 10.7 so you don't miss anything. 10.6 server leaves out features of regular 10.6.

Wait. I'll also bet the farm that Lion Server is going to be the easiest and new user friendly server software in the world.

I just added extra ram in my older macs to get me by until the new mini is available so I can patiently wait for it. :p I'm thinking Apple will release in July with Lion and by August we should find readily available.. I hope.
