1. AirPods in 2018: a new case with wireless charging capable to be launched separately. may come with new AirPods if purchased after release? the AirPods themselves are identical. this seems to be delayed perhaps due to the huge delay in the airpower charging mat.
2. AirPods in 2019: fall redesign increasing waterproofing and adding active noise reduction.
