Have an iPhone 12 - all fine and dandy with iTunes and syncing music up to about a week ago and now it just freezes at the final hurdle and wont copy over tracks saying "Waiting for changes to be applied".

This happened about the time I did update to the final public beta for 16 and now I am on 16.1 its still the same.

I have used iMazing to get the music on/off which has worked but rather be able to do it in iTunes (on High Sierra)

I also tried taking all the music off in iTunes and then putting back on but it still "stuck"

Is my best bet to restore the phone and start from scratch ? Will it be fine restoring on this 16.1 beta ?

Yeah I fixed it by completely resetting it - not too much of a hassle tbh as I have an iPad so you can just bring them together when you first initialise the phone and it grabs most of the stuff plus the iCloud backup helps but still annoying.
