Agreed! I’ll be holding onto my iPhone 7 until next spring to see what comes out. I don’t care about a snazzy camera all I really use my phone got is games, music and texting.
I would agree with you except that all the rumors point to them just making a “new SE“ that is basically a rebadged iPhone 8
That of course totally misses the mark of why a large chunk of the SE audience has that device.

Same here. I like a phone that I can use one handed and doesn't bend in my jeans pocket.

You can pick up refurbs very cheaply (in the UK, anyway). I'd consider one anyway then, a decent 64 GB can be had for a little over £100. You could even import a UK one after november, our currency will be worthless then

It's very much faster than a 5S, and you get Apple Pay along with a decent camera. I'd expect it won't be supported in iOS 14 though, so 1 year sounds about right.
I know it's faster but it is ~180 GBP here. I would have to buy it via eBay from UK. If the UK will withdraw from the EU without a deal it sounds as quiet a cheap solution.
It's my dream phone, but not if the rumors of it being in the body of the 8 are true. I would hardly call that an SE replacement. Keep that small body!
If they do the "8 body" and try to pass that off as the SE - they've lost the plot completely.

Yup. That’s exactly what the next SE will be, is a rebranded iPhone 8. It won’t be the form factor I think that others somehow believe will be revived, that particular 4” iPhone model is done for.
