ive been hearing that BB has a waiting list. im nto sure if its all stores or just store to store. my question is though is this just a waiting list for theyll call you when they get some in or is this a preorder type waiting list where yours is held for you?

waiting list at Best Buy question

There's no consistency with Best Buy Stores.
A little while back a local BB store had 2 iPad 32 WiFi models in stock but wouldn't see me one cause they were on hold. Then recently when I went to buy them, no other BB store in the area would hold one for a customer when you call. They all said it was first come for them and they wouldn't hold an iPad.
The bummer is the BB that would hold them had non in stock. Fortunately there were 2 stores thad had a few 32's in stock. I bolted up to one of them and got the last one.

A few minutes ago I called the Gainesville, Fl bestbuy store and inquired about if they had any 3G iPads in stock and they said no, they had only a couple of the wifi iPads left. I am 48th on the reserve list at the Apple store in Jax. It seems like that can't keep up with the demand especially for the 3G.
