Morning all,

This might sound like a silly question, but, hear me out.

So, you walk up to your iMac, and need to 'wake' it. What do YOU do?

I typically either press the space bar on the keyboard, or sometimes press the mouse a handful of times.
In doing so, it can take up to 10-20 seconds for the iMac to get to the login screen.

To confirm, is this natural?

Thanks all...

Not sure I understand the question. You mean is it natural to perform the same action each time? I'd say so. I always double tap the bottom left key (fn on Mac, Ctrl on Windows). If the mouse was charging I'll double tap the mouse to pair it again once the screen comes on.

I usually just tap a key on my keyboard. It's probably faster to press the start button on the back of the machine since I assume the bluetooth sleeps a bit, but I never wait more than about 5 seconds for it to fully wake up.
