My thoughts exactly , local store opens up in an hour , might just go for a drive soon lol
There’s walk in stock. I’m literally waiting at the Apple store right now for my 9am reservation I made this morning (didn’t preorder)
I was in line at the location nearest to me (Fairview Mall, Toronto) , but they don’t have the space grey in 64GB or 256gb, the Applestore App finally updated and the only place in stock with 256gb was Eaton Centre Mall, Toronto, so I ordered for pickup there for 12pm , kinda want to go there and see if I can just grab it now lol
just placed an order for instore pick up at 1:30pm and might have gotten the last one as the webpage has gone back to "Currently unavailable at ___"

Just picked up a Mini from my local store in Sweden. Going to need to cancel my Apple order. Was a bit surprised that I could buy it without pre-ordering it . Only store in my city to have it in stock today as far as I could see. Bought it 10 minutes before I had to be at work, seller walked very quickly to the storage.

So my In-Store Pickup appointment was for 12pm-12:15pm , I just drive to the store and picked it up now instead of waiting! I asked if they had anymore in stock and they said they were sold out for both sizes for space grey already!
I was able to secure the mini I wanted (256GB Cellular Starlight) while picking up my iPhones. So happy. Right after I picked mine up I checked their stock via the website and it said Unavailable. I must have had the only / last one!
I was just at the store to see the iPad mini colors in person and 256GB starlight was in stock (I only checked the 256 GB models). The rest of the colors are available for pick up tomorrow. I've decided to keep my purple mini, which is now out for delivery!
All iPad mini configurations still available for ISPU from the two stores nearest me (Glendale Galleria and Americana) so I was able to get my preferred config 256GB Cellular Space Gray. Screw the 1-month wait times for delivery.

Not necessarily. I think Apple Stores may have a separate allocation for ISPU online orders than they do for walk-ins. I know some people who checked online and said an item was unavailable but when they went to the store, they were in stock.

Pacific Daylight Time where I am. Placed an in-store pickup order at 4AM this morning. Pickup time was supposed to be 7:30PM, but as soon as the Apple Store app. showed that the order was ready for pickup, I went to the store, checked in and picked it up. That was around noon.
I had an order with a delivery estimate of 10/6-13.
I checked the app this morning, and the iPad I wanted (grey/256/cellular) was available 30 miles away (Tacoma!)
The opportunity-cost of lost time for my road trip probably wasn't worth it, but I've got one in my grubby little mitts right now.
