I’ve found the Walkie-Talkie app really flaky, sometimes it connects straight away other times it gets stuck on inviting.

When it does connect using the app is just as sketchy, sometimes it works sometimes I’m left looking like a tool.

We had three Series 3's and a Series 4 this weekend...could not get it to work. My wife and I sometimes get ours to work but then it stops and we have to reboot our watches.

can't get it to work at all, between AW 4 and AW3. We're both currently on the same network, will try moving one out of the network. Just says "inviting" although when I look in the aw app, under walkie talkie it shows the contact I have added/invited

I had the same problem. I deleted the contact in my watch app under walkie talkie that said inviting and then invited again. The person accepted and now we can talk to each other. Hope this helps.

in my case 2 series 3 watches 1 cellular 1 wifi --- both watches sitting next to each other never get invite but contact either sits at "invited" or "inviting" ... very very frustrating!

my walkie talkie app is stuck on “inviting”...any solutions?
Mine was a little funky at first with a big delay before I could add a person, but eventually the invitation went through and it has been working fine with my one "walkie talkie friend." Do a reboot and if that doesnt fix it, try inviting them again.

Mine worked immediately. I have a S4, my BFF halfway across the country has a S2, and we used it seamlessly. I don’t know often I’ll use it, but I love how clear it is!

Finally worked last night. Sooooooo what's the draw? It's kind of annoying.... why not just make a phone call between watches?????

Mine is stuck in inviting too. Unpaired from iPhone and then paired as a new watch thinking a prior backup was the issue. No change.

This might be a longshot, but are the two watches on the same Apple ID? If so, that could be the issue.
nope only one on the apple ID. it randomly started working last week...so
i’m not exactly sure what fixed it?
