Does the iPad come with a power adapter which will connect to the electrical outlet in the wall? I don't think it does however on Apple's site it says this: "Your iPad includes a 10W USB Power Adapter for charging iPad directly through an electrical outlet. Purchase this additional adapter to have a second charger for home or office. This adapter includes a 6-foot-long power cord so you can charge iPad from an even greater distance."

Yes, that is what the 10W adapter is, however it just includes the standard 2-prong (A-Type) connector. However it is compatible with the 6ft (2m) 3-prong (B-Type) connector. But if you buy a stand-alone 10W adapter, it includes both connectors. And of course, it is compatible with any international adapter that connects to the B or figure-8 shaped connectors for Apple Power Supplies.
