You definitely need to change your title. Nothing was confirmed here by these "people."
Also, these articles were concrete enough for Slate magazine (run by the Washington Post) to put "Apple to Unveil Non-AT&T iPhones" as their article header, but not good enough for the esteemed forum communities. http://slatest.slate.com/id/2249277/?v=1#2

Should this rumor come true in June, will there be a giant suction sound in AT&T's network, as folks leave for Verizon? If so, will that improve voice and data performance for those still with AT&T?
Let's do without the "my reception is fine" comments. Yes, many people do have good reception, but the folks in areas of high population, i.e. San Francisco and New York, have historically had poor 3G reception.
