Wallet - best app to scan and access cards / id's, etc?

Hello,

I'm trying to slim down my wallet.... what is the best app to easily scan and store cards such as:

Costco
School ID's
Store discount cards
business cards

I would think the wallet app would do this, but it doesn't seem to very easily at all. Is there an alternative?

I tried doing this a while back (I can't recall the app) and gave up. Those red laser grocery store scanners don't work on phone screens.

Newer ones do so depends how up to date the shop is. My local supermarket used to struggle with them on the self scan tills until they were updated a while back and they now work fine. I've got cards for a couple of shops stored in the Apple Wallet added via Stocard i think it was and they work fine at the shops i've tried them in. UK at least it tends to work more than it doesnt for me.
