Is there an app that allows for:

wallpaper (1) on the 1st page of apps
wallpaper (2) on the 2nd page of apps
etc...

This would be nice for me as I group my apps. For example, all my games can have a funny background, then on another page, my financial apps can have a money themed background. Anyone know of a way to do this?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS (JB3.1, unlocked): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7C144 Safari/528.16)

Copy/paste from the forums at modmyi:

As long as you have Winterboard installed, you should be able to do that.

In your main theme folder you will use the following file names.

Wallpaper.png (main wallpaper that sits on the bottom "layer")
Page0.png
Page1.png
Page2.png

etc....

The Page0-PageX.png will overwrite the original Wallpaper.png. This means that you can use a mostly transparent Page0.png that only includes the page name text, or you can create an entirely new page look for those.

You will see this most commonly used on the iNav themes, and are a good place to start learning about it if you're so inclined.

Cheers!

Thanks for the post. I'll try it out this weekend. Sorry I didn't immediately reply. Geesh! I had to get to work!

No worries. I actually checked your profile before I posted and saw that you were on the boards four hours after I answered your question. I (mistakenly?) figured you had seen my reply in that four hour period. Guess I was wrong. My bad.

four hour period? Seriously??

As I appreciate your (and others) replies, but I did have to work today! I typ. post at home (if I need to) and then read up during the day, then reply and search, etc. in the evenings. I don't reply while at work. And this evening I was helping my daughter with her homework. Wow, I had no idea my reply time would be under such scrutiny!
But again, all is cool. Thank you.

Thanks

I remembered seeing this tip a while back and just now got around to using it.
The images do have to be .png file format to work.

Thanks, it works great.
