You used to be able to use any of the Apple wallpaper designs and pick whether you wanted to use it for the lockscreen, home screen, or both....is this no longer the case or am I missing something?

Basically, it looks like there's no way to use an Apple wallpaper for only the homescreen, while keeping your lock screen a different image.

You can still do that. You can pick a wallpaper for the lock screen, and then choose customize home screen. If you wanted a different Apple wallpaper for your homescreen, add that image beforehand to your Photos so you can select when customizing the homescreen. Apple wallpaper images are easy to find.

Still though, a bit annoying that you can't just go to where they have all the wallpapers saved and set it for only your home screen.

I'm going to bet there will be changes to how this new wallpaper functionality works, so maybe making the Apple wallpapers accessible to the homescreen independent of the lock screen will be an option. There also needs to be a way to delete all the wallpapers one has added.
