I noticed my wallpaper is darker toward the bottom of the screen. Even when I go into settings and choose a picture for both, the one on the locked screen is lighter at the bottom than the wallpaper. I really noticed it when I had a light photo as background (like snow). I doesn't happen anywhere else or any of the apps, just the wallpaper. Anyone else noticed this?

As designed. It's to ensure the icons in the dock (and the dock itself) are clearly visible. Assuming your important/most-used apps are in the dock, this is to avoid the blending-in that can happen to non-dock apps when using a bright & busy wallpaper.
