Want to buy a 20" ACD.

But I am going to do a lot of graphics and design with it. Is it up to the task working wise and colorwise? Is it evenly backlit?

Does anyone know of a better 20"?

I just want it because it looks niiiiiiiiiiiiice as well. I would hate having a black 20" dell or something (which doesn't have the Apple logo on it...)

I currently own a 23" ACD , and let me tell you, ITS WORTH IT.

If you have the money to pay for a 23 " instead of a 20", try getting the 23, since its HD.

Regarding the 20" itself, I'll say it looks sweet, but I dont feel confortable working with such little space.

consolidate, simplify, go with the 23. Seriously, is not just 3 inches, its 3 diagonal inches which means a lot more. A lot more than those spam emails describes 3 inches...

Get an iCurve ($30), 17" MBP and a 20" ACD. Buy a refurb. ACD, since it is a hell of a lot cheaper...

I would get the 23" because you will also get an HD display over the non HD 20" and I personally think it is really worth the price difference.

As a 23" ACD owner I'm going to suggest this option also. The 20" just seems so small by comparison - the work area on the 23" is superb. And, of course, it has to be Apple over the competition - purely for the look and build quality of the thing. Breathtaking.

Or just pay much less and get the Dell 2405, which is reviewed (Tom's Hardware) as a superior display, along with being much cheaper. Yet, if you're simply looking for aesthetics, go with the ACD. Any other comparison, go with the 24'' Dell, it's not even close.

Actually, you're right. The 20" ACD can't run 1080p video, whilst teh 23" csn. The 17" MBP and 20" ACD has same resolution, so no point in the 20"...
