I have a lot of whole albums in my music folder, but only put the songs that I like on my iPod because of space issues. Now that i'm running out of room on my computer, is there any easier way to get rid of every song I'm not using on my iPod besides going down the 2000 song list and deleting them individually?

Also, on a kind of unrelated note, I wanted to back up my song files (the ones on my ipod, not my huge music folder) on another computer. Any way to do this? like programs besides iTunes, which stops me from dropping the data from my iPod to my other computer?

Thanks a lot in advanced. You guys appear to be very helpful.

Not that I know of.

What kind of iPod do you have?

Well, if you're asking if there's a way to get songs or movies off your iPOD on to another computer, there is a way. *SHAREPOD* It's really easy to use and from what I believe it's free to download as well. But this sharepod program will not work with an IPOD touch. I don't know which other ones it isn't compatible with but i know that it works on the classic, nano and a few others except the touch. So try it out.

Let me know if you have problems getting it and I'll see if I can send it to you or even post an attachment for you to download.
