I am so lost !!! I have an 8GB iPhone that I activated with iTunes and I want to just jailbreak it with no problems. I hear so many conflicting things about Ziphone and iLiberty I just don't know what to do. Should I use ZiPhone 3.0, ZiPhone 2.6b or iLibertyx? Has anyone jailbroken their iPhone in ZiPhone 3.0 with no problems?

Also, when the new firmware comes out, do I just restore and download the new firmware to avoid bricking my phone?

ziphone works perfectly. Just plug ur phone in and click jailbreak.

Before a new firmware comes out restore to 1.1.4 then when it comes out, upgrade.

If you want to jailbreak only use ZiPhone 3.0 for now as its idiot proof.

Click on JAILBREAK ONLY and not activate or unlock!

If you were unlocking as well I would recommend iLiberty+ right now but as your just jailbreaking ZiPhone 3.0 is easier...

However if ZiPhone fails then just use iLiberty+ and click on jailbreak only and setup installer.

Should you have any problems with either - ie, not booting up then simply restore in itunes back to 1.1.4 and try again. Its easy! and fully reversible!
