I have a MacBook Air and my daughter has a MacBook Pro. I am currently running Catalina; she probably is. In my Photos I have some videos, and about to get another, that I would like her to save and view. I am having all kinds of difficulty trying to find instructions on how to send it from my Mac to hers. Tried email, but the files are too big to go. When I try to find a tutorial to follow, I end up with semantics problems. Some think "transfer" means I want to send my files to a new Mac I just bought. Others end up being on iPhone/iPad to Mac. I just want a simple way for her to see them. I suspect there is some way to send it to her (short of mailing a USB stick). I keep running into "sharing" files through iCloud (both of us have that). I know email is turning out to be too complicated. Please, what is a simple (for I am old and not very tech savvy) way to do this?

You can use Dropbox to share photos, videos and other files with your daughter. 2gb of storage is free.

There are other solutions but Dropbox is pretty simple and what I have used on occasion.

If you are storing you photos in iCloud and both of you are logged into the same iCloud account then she will automatically see them.

Open the photos app. Create a new shared album. It will guide you step by step. Use your daughter's iCloud address. Both of you will see in the shared album what you decide to share.

I've been using Drobox for a few years. Works a treat. Uload whatever files, then you can send a link that your daughter can view/download them with.
