iPhone Want to update my jailbroken iPhone4 5.0.1 (9A405)

I know i am too late, but i need your help guys. I am running a jailbroken iPhone4 ver 5.0.1.
I want to update my phone to the latest version (iOS 7).
Please help me about how should i update.
Tried restoring through iTunes but got some error.

There are many apps which can only be updated if the version is iOS 6 or more.

Please Help!

did you make a backup with itunes? if not, i recommend you do that before doing any kind of updating

what kind of error are you getting when you try to restore?
