so i did the

"C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

(i have 64-bit Windows 7 Professional with iTunes 9)
but now, when i Shift + Click update or restore...iTunes crashes

i tried repairing
i tried uninstalling and reinstalling
i tried uninstalling and installing iTunes 8.2.1
but still it always crashes when i shift + click update or restore...

help?
