all help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, I own a iPad and Hp laptop. Ive really been wanting to get a Mac Mini to hook up to my tv.

The things I want to use a Mac Mini for include: surfing the web, controlling iTunes, and basically downloading and watching movies/tv shows, and writing documents. Ideally id like to run Plex on the mac mini and use it for downloading and storing movies and things of that sort. What I'm wondering is what model should I get?

I don't do gaming on it as i already have a ps3 and i would like the movies to come in nice (hd). Would i be safe with getting a 2009 model, should i get the current model, or wait for the 2011 model to come out? Also what specifications would you'll recommend? The 2.26 gz, ram? And what not for me to achieve what id like to do on it? Also I will running to this to a 32" LG tv if that helps

Thanks and the help is appreciated!!!

I have the 2009 model and it handles all of that very easily. The 2010 model is better if you prefer the dedicated HDMI port, but if you are okay with using an adapter and seperate audio then the 2009 is fine.
