iPhone Wanting to jailbreak from iOS 7

hi guys so mac OS X pang is out and i wanna upgrade from is to iOS 8.1 but 8.1.1 is out and that stops the jailbreak. how do i upgrade to iOS 8.1 while its still signed?

Download the 8.1 ipsw and hold shift and then click restore in iTunes

Choose the 8.1 ipsw and as long as 8.1 is still being signed, the restore will go through

It says it is the wrong firmware and it is the gsm one I need.

Has it stopped being signed for? Only wanna upgrade to use my ios8 with yosemite

hmm, if even the itunes downloaded one gives you an error, then it's not the ipsw

type gs.apple.com in your browser, if it brings you to cydia, you need to fix your hosts file

surprisingly, 8.1 is still being signed
