Today, I decided to check iTunes for movies with closed captions. The last time I checked the number has dwindled to a exceedingly pathetic 14. But today the number sprung up to ~130! Not enough - I want the movies I actually want to see, to have captions (Quantum of Solace, Godfather, and so forth), but it's a good sight to see, I was thinking closed captioning is dead on iTunes.

But anyway, I noticed Cloverfield is captioned! It's one of my favorite movies. I'd love to buy it as my first movie on iTunes.

But then I realized it's not HD. So this made me think, are anyone here hesitating to buy any movie that's not HD, because there's a possibility the HD version will appear any day?

I would prefer the HD versions of course but that hasn't stopped us from buying them. You may end up waiting a very long time for a movie to be released in HD. We have 105 movies and only two of them are even HD.
