I surely do. Also my FPS drop down when I'm in a big battle with a macbookpro nvidia 2gb etc...
Very dissapointing.

Sounds fine to me..........

Have you ever played warcraft 3?

have you ever played the map Dota? And you will know there are "kill" sounds that are on that map. "first blood, killingspree, dominating, double kill" etc None of these can be heard.

Also, the music stops after 1 track. There are peaks of sound that jump out, then there is sounds not playing. For example, sniper shoots and you cannot hear the attack sound.

Yes, I've probably played more WC3 games than you have yourself. Anyways, ok - yeah I don't hear the first blood sounds, the shooting of the rifle, etc... kind of odd but it's hard to notice that when it's not pointed out exactly what isn't heard. I've played so many WC3 games it's just something I don't think about. Everything else seemed fine except for one time your rifleman sounded like he was talking really quietly. Other than that everything was normal.

I agree with the other person that replied... where FPS will drop in a large battle. Wtf? This new MBP has like 170-202 FPS when looking at the map w/ fog of war on and nothing going on. How can it drop so low? It wasn't like that in Tiger... I think it's a Leopard issue as well.

I dont seem to have a problem with FPS dropping.

I made this video to demonstrate what I was talking about to b.net open tech support. I purposely died to get the sounds. It was an AI dota map. i would be more than glad to play some dota with yourself haiggy if your feeling pro? ^^

Anyway, you don't notice it as much because you are not playing it. It was all examples too. But what about the music just stopping after one track? And the fighting noises jumping up in level at random intervals?

The game is still playable. But it sounds a hell of a lot better on my 3 year old eMac. This is an expensive machine, and I would like it to work properly. You know?

So if you think it is a Leopard issue, how do I go about reporting it?

It must be a software driver issue within the operating system.

It really does sound like, its a cheap ass soundcard that cant play more than so many sounds at once (like 10 years ago lol).Know what I mean?

im also having a few probelms with the sound so i watched your video but mines different to yours.

only sometimes when i click on a unit or move the unit there is a short loud crack sound. it is much louder than usual

do you ever experience this?

In general the sound just is not right. Your problems are similar or more severe? I have e-mailed blizzard and await a response. Hopefully they may be able to come up with an answer.
