Warcraft 3 Problems on Macbook Pro

Hey,
I just installed both Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne and whenever I open either programs it automatically closes and says "The application Warcraft III quit unexpectedly." Anyone know what is wrong?

That's really strange... you may try uninstalling/reinstalling (making sure to remove any prefs files). Another thing that may work is - go to Blizzard's website and directly download the latest patch from there which, among many other things, make the executable a Universal Binary. (You would normally get this update automatically the first time you connect to Battle.net from within the game). This alone may fix your MBP problem. Otherwise contact Blizzard support.

The way that it worked for me is to do as follows. Download the Universal Patch from Blizzard. v1.21 for Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne. Make sure you uninstall it first. Install Reign of Chaos, then right after install the universal patch for Reign of Chaos. Just to check, run Reign of Chaos. If it runs, it is good to go. Then, install the Frozen Throne and also install the patch for Frozen Throne. After you install it. Then run the program. It should work!!

Then go to getdota.com and play dota so you could waste your life and such.
