Warhammer Online /w MBP 2010?..

Hey all!

Just downloaded the trial of Warhammer Online on my 15" MBP i7, 4GB, 500GB@7200rpm. I dont feel a smooth gaming experience, which i find a bit odd, compared to the min system requirements.

Anyone else tried WAR, who might shed some light on performance and settings? I tried pulling the settings to a lower, even the resolution from 1680x1050, which did help some but looked terrible.

The reason you're not having a smooth gaming experience is purely down to the fact that Warhammer online doesn't offer a smooth gaming experience at all, be it on Mac or Windows.

Compared to the "late 2007" MBP I ran WAR on a few weeks ago, it is flying right now.

But what the above poster says - dont expect 100+ fps on any platform once you have 200-400 players in the same area

Thanks for the input. Sad they dont seem to have made performance improvements better since launch.

Ohhh - its greatly improved since launch. But still choppy as hell when you have 200 bright wizards bombing the hell out of destro inside the same area.
