I know I'll be picking up a GS4 after owing and S3 and being incredibly impressed. I wasn't going to upgrade until 2 years later but the Exynos 5450 and a 1080P 4.99 inch screen has me sold. So I certainly hope Samsung sticks with the curvy nature of the S3. It is by far more comfortable than all the other phones out there with sharper edges. I don't know if Apple will ever go back to the comfortable curves of the 3Gs but I for one would welcome it. So what do you prefer for your next device in terms of design.

I absolutely love how the S3 feels in my hands! I hope they stick to something similar too. It's the thing I miss the most ever since I switched to a Nexus 4.

I remember picking up an S3 for the first time and thinking how nice and comfortable it felt in the hand. Can't wait to see what they do with the S4.

I'm with you on this. I hope Sammy sticks with the curves as well. Every phone out there is more on the sharper rectangular shape. I think the S3 is currently the only high end Android phone with curves.

I'm loving the way the rumors for 2013 are shaping up. I will def be upgrading next year, I am just not sure yet to which phone. You have the following big names coming out with new phones:

1. Nokia 920 successor. 930?
2. Galaxy S4
3. Note 3
4. Google's Nexus "X" phone
5. 8X+ ?

By the way, I too love the feel of the S3. Very natural and warm feeling in the hand.

I would also pay attention to ZTE and Xiaomi offerings from China since they are already releasing phones that match or exceed the top offerings from more known brands but with better prices. They will very likely release more impressive Android phones next year.

Are they releasing into the US though? I didn't think AT&T, Verizon or Sprint had contracts with these companies yet?

Hard to say, their main focus is China right now but with their high quality offerings at moderate prices, they are hard to ignore.

Yeah I prefer the feel of the galaxy nexus over the nexus 4 from an ergonomics standpoint.

I prefer the flat panel on the iPhone 4/4S/5 than the curviness of the S3 -- this is a big reason why I was so excited to upgrade from the iP3G over to the iP4S.
