Anyone else having issues with warm/hot to the touch when on a call with iPhone 15 Pro Max?.

I am using an apple silicone case also. I know there are reports when people get a hot phone when they are using it for youtube and such but not a call.

This just started to happen a couple of days ago.

Yes— my 15 Pro has been very warm while on phone calls, and it's draining the battery quite a bit too!

This is a pre-ordered 512gb model, and I'm using a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case

Did you guys set up the phone as new or restore it from iCloud? Someone in one of the other posts said that when they set up as new, the problem went away, but when they restored the iCloud backup it came back.

I got my 15 Pro Max on Friday and yesterday was the first time I noticed it getting very warm while on a call. I did a hard reset and that seemed to help but don’t know if that’s a permanent fix. I’m keeping an eye on it. Never had that issue before with previous iPhones. I restored it from iCloud, setting it up as new would be a huge hassle for me.

No, nothing beyond what I expect from a 3.7 ghz CPU in the palm of our hand.

We're lucky it isn't an Android phone with thousands of google background processes running.

I setup as new.
