So after weeks of below temperatures and a nasty storm last weekend its finally warm in the Northeast. Temps in the 70's all weekend and maybe 80 on Monday.:)

isn't it lovely? i don't think i've ever been so anxious for warm weather in my life!

i was one of those dummies that planted flowers before the cold snap came. my husband kept telling me that the farmer's almanac was calling for another frost, and i didn't believe him.

now my flowers are dead. i'll buy new ones tomorrow and try again. :D

BTW...how did you make out with that whole nor'easter? i drove through CT the day it started to rain...

The trees here have been waiting to bud out for weeks. I see a huge allergy blitz coming.:(

Well...we are just now getting a late taste of Winter...It's rained probably twice since November, so we can really use the rain. Still, it's not supposed to rain in LA past the middle of March, so this is a little wacky. Of course, since Steve pushed Spring back into October, maybe rain in April will be de rigueur from now on.

Spring sucks. Summer sucks.

I hate the warm weather. I hate how the sun warms everything. The higher the sun climbs, the more exhausting everything is. I hate the buds. I was walking the dog in the woods this morning, and there were buds everywhere. Out of nowhere, all this ... claustrophobia. I hate leaves. Buds are just this inexorable doom.

Maybe I'm moody. But ... ugh. I hate warmth, I hate the sun and I hate leaves.

Get off my lawn, etc.

Why can't the weather just stay in the 50s-60s? :( Those are the most comfy temps.

i agree. they are the best. anything over 70s starts to be too warm. a nice cool breeze in the 60s is about perfect. Fall is my favorite time of year too.

I know!:D Finally! It was great, I love the rain.
