In the second pic you can see the inside and there is nothing there. I'm assuming it's the same for the first pic.

And the majority of if it isn't there, you can see his finger on the other side.
That's a reflection on the bent chrome rim.
Either that or he has REALLY long fingers... with several extra joints.
