Today i noticed a warning sign next to my battery indicator, and now i am worried what does it mean?

Looks like a speech bubble. Sure it's not push-related or something.

Why don't you read the manual or search Apple's website before asking things that you really should be able to know before you start using a new handset.

Do you have iBlacklist installed? It puts icons like that on the statusbar to let you know when items have been blocked.
