Hi, all.
I noticed recently that the corners of the RAM door on my C2D MBP stick up just a hair. I don't mind it, but I don't think it was always like that. I know that RAM can get quite warm. Is it possible that the heat of the RAM is warping the plastic? Might this be an indication of bad RAM? It's a 1GB chip from DMS installed on top of the stock 1GB.
The only time I ever noticed the door itself particularly warm was after using Photoshop (CS2, so through Rosetta) in bed.
I've had 2 kernel panics on this computer, but that's been over 2 months and was during aiport use (which I've noticed can be flaky on the C2D MBP), so I don't think I've seen any system indication of bad RAM.
Thanks.
