Hi
I had problems with true depth camera so my carrier said that they will replace my iPhone.
Will I get new phone? Refurbished?

In addition, what "refurbished" mean?
What's the condition of the battery?
The phone might have scratches?

It will be a new phone but, it may be in a plain white box not in retail packaging. I don’t believe Apple has refurbished phone available at this point.

You'll have to ask your carrier. It's not being replaced by Apple so it's anyone's guess what you'll get.

You'd be correct if OP was getting his replacement from Apple.

However, OP said his carrier was replacing it. If it's a US carrier then that means Assurant or Assurion, which are not Apple. In any case, since it's not Apple replacing it then it's anyone's guess what OP will get.

Probably be refurbished, it’s absolutely terrible Apple replace their faulty iPhones with refurbished products, I once had this and received a refurb which had some scuffs

There is no way you received a refurbished from Apple with scuffs unless it was a manufacturing problem. Apple does not refurbish their phones for replacement, they remanufacture them. This means new battery, new display and an entirely new outside casing.

Aussurion’s devices on the other hand are refurbished or returned devices. Terrible condition for the most part.

If it’s a manufacturer defect, why not try to get it replaced through Apple?

I don't have Apple store in my contry. Only authorized reseller, like my carrier

Pretty sure the X has been out long enough to have refurbs.

Even if so it should be like spanking new
Assuming it comes from Apple.

OP does not have an Apple store in his country and may not have AC+. As such, OP is subject to whatever quality of replacement his carrier will provide.
