That was my number one request for the new iPad Pro. I'm avoiding Face ID, I don't really feel comfortable when using it. I really thought they are gonna add it, but I guess I have to buy iPad Air.

... never found definitive answer on a question: if the FaceID is disabled on an iPad Pro, is it really doing nothing? (no dot-projections etc.).

It would've been better if they put Face ID on the long side.
