Ok You know how malls have those money trap stupid grab games with prizes that you will never win? Well my wife and I were returning a sweater she bought and I see this kid with a friend at one filming him. Then I notice he had a Galaxy 21, and a Nintendo Switch Lite. I went up and said did you really win those on this.... Yup. There was a X-Box Series X in there he was going for..... Well he tried 3 times... And kept getting close. I said I will give you 40 bucks to try for the iPad Pro. It's 5 bucks a try. He agreed. And then I said if you get in the first try I will give you another 60. He got supper excited and said on it's on. SOB. He did it on the second try. Turns out he has autism and can just feel it he says. I gave him the 60 bucks and he handed me the iPad Pro. It's the real deal. 2021 M1 12.9 iPad Pro Wifi with 256gig storage. It will be replacing my 2019 iPad Pro 11 inch. I already ordered the Magic Keyboard. I love it so far.... Screen is BRIGHT. Colors are beautiful. And it is fast. I am giving the 11 iPad Pro to a neighbors kid.

I actually won a PS4 while I was in Vegas with one of those things. It’s pretty cool. The store rep that was in there didn’t believe us tho and we had to pretty much argue for them to release it. But it was a cool experience.
Wow, that’s one heck of a device to win. Would love to hear your experience with going from an 11’ to a 12.9.
So far I love it. The speed is equal to my M1 MBA. The biggest thing is the screen. It’s the most incredible screen I have seen. I watched The Last Jedi last night and wow. HDR is intense. I have it set up almost to my liking. Still fine tuning settings and the layout. But also the battery life so far is great. 6 hours of downloading stuff and setting up all my accounts and such. 35% battery left. The size isn’t that bad when I get the MKB it will be a slightly smaller MBA basically.
When the person responsible for stocking that machine comes back they're going to be like what the bleep happen??? The Galaxy 21, Switch Lite and IPP are all gone 🤣
That’s awesome! Congratulation. Yeah I legit keep my screen at 40% during the day and less than 20% at night. the mini LED display is so bright.
I have the 13ProMax.... I use all 3 of my machines through out the day. How I see it is the MBA is a Mac OS Laptop, the iPad once my MKB comes will be my iOS Laptop, and my phone will be my phone, camera, and music source. As for the size it seemed huge at first but cause it's very close to my MBA I have very quickly adapted to it.
That’s exactly how I use my devices. I’m in my second year of medical school, so with the amount of didactic work we do, my iPad is my go to device. I use it for Notabiity all day, connected to the Magic Keyboard it’s great for browsing, scrolling, using as a laptop. I use my MacBook Air for exams, Microsoft Office apps (they’re just far more optimized for macOS). But the combo is really nice. I do think, post medical school, my requirements for a laptop will be slim, so I’ll continue to buy and use the larger iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard as my primary device and may get an iMac as my macOS device.

@AdamNC Not sure whether to hate you or love you. Due to this post I shopped long and hard on the used market for a replacement to my 2018 11” iPP and found a 2021 11” iPP M1 and got a great deal as it’s still under main warranty for a few more months and in immaculate condition!
^ that’s the love part. The loath due to this thread: no case no apple pencil2 ; for now.
