Was iPhone 2g firmware baseband updated with 3.0?

Just as the question says. I know it hasn't been updated for quite a while, so I doubt Apple will update it again. Obviously if it hasn't this will make unlocking a much more quick reality. Cheers!
yes it has been released, but no hack for unlocking is available at present
