A little pumpng up for the Macbook line from the Washington Post. It's interesting that they say, in so many words, that you cannot get a decent windows laptop for under $1500:

Say what? Admittedly, I haven't looked at Windows laptops in quite some time, but aren't so-called "Desktop Replacement" laptops the MOST expensive machines? You know, with a desktop chip, HUGE 17 or 18 or even 19 inch screen, hundreds of fans, etc? A quick search over at Dell puts the XPS at 2300 dollars, hardly a 699 laptop.....

Rob Pegoraro is pretty pro-Mac and he always answers e-mails, which is pretty impressive. Good guy.

Pretty much falls in line. I remember buying a 17 inch Toshiba beast from costco for $900 bucks a few years back. Went back after 2 weeks.

well pro-Mac is fine but it also hurts the artical value because it means he not going to put as much effort in making it balance. He going to take up the mac (or subconsilily or with effert). The artical is pretty heavy anti-pc and he has issues with pcs. harder to spot but very clearly in there.

But being so heavily promac mens I would take the artical with a grain of salt.

cant be good for the digestion all those articles people eat. But must be flavorful since they only use a single grain of salt...
