Other Wasn’t Even Considering Getting XS Max

I have the X, I much preferred it over the Plus models which I did previously have some of them and I figured I would leave well enough alone. Boy was I dead wrong, just checking this Max out for a few minutes I did a total about face. I was fortunate my local Apple store had some available so I pulled the trigger.

Something tells me Apple may have underestimated the demand for the Max once people have had a chance to see it and try it. We will see but I think I may end up being right. Maybe they may have thought the target was more the Plus owners and not so much the X owners. Time will tell regardless of its cost.

Folks at my local Apple and Best Buy store seemed to have been checking it out more so than the XS and were more intrigued. I know I certainly was.

In the same boat: was not even considering it until I tried it in my hands today. Who knows maybe I will even get it lol
I liked the screen real estate and camera upgrades over the X. However, I need more info on the signal quality/reception. I’m really worried about that aspect. I might buy it outright to try it out to see if I wanna keep it.

Of course the return policy was a big factor in me throwing down on it. But what went through my mind was I better get it while it was available to me.

I could have waited owning the X but why didn’t I and just wait for folk’s opinion on it? Cause if I had no thoughts of even buying it in the first place there will be others that will commit quickly as well. So much so I really think there may be a shortage regardless of its cost.

I like the Max but it’s too big for me. I like big phones in theory but they get to me after a few days.

I was in the same boat. Thought I would stick with my iPhone X for another year. Checked it out, fortunately the apple reseller I was at was just receiving shipments at 4 pm. Now I’m typing from it. Performance wise is pretty much the same as the X but boy I missed the larger screen from my 7 plus. It’s gorgeous and the keyboard much better.
