Seems it is cheaper for european people to buy from Amazon :)

Also available from GoG DRM free :)

There are two version one for £44.99 Deluxe and one for £29.99 Classic at steam and GoG.

Me I am waiting for a sale, and maybe a vanilla version I really do not want or need all the stuff that
comes with it.

I backed this, but I think I'm going to wait a bit and play shadowrun: dragonfall director's cut first. Apparently it's still fairly buggy.

This is certainly on my wish list but I am no hurry with so much to catch up on and a new WoW expansion coming up as well.

I don't know about the Humble version, but you can get it drm-free at GOG.

Yeah, I do know that both GOG and Humble have a good deal of DRM-free (and thus Steam-independent) games. Although I just prefer the Humble site better, it seems better done and better-organized than GOG's.

But if GOG is the only place that will be selling the DRM-free Wasteland2, then I guess I will have to buy it from there.

The game is actually DRM-free no matter where you buy it - even on Steam. Steam is only used as means to distribute patches.

Anyone playing this on the Mac, and if so how does it play, how polished is it, as they say now ?

Divinity Original Sin is the same :)

I love this game ..but it would be interesting to see how it works on Mac :D

It's fine. It runs on Unity and doesn't really have any issues. Performance could be a bit better but it's not awful by any means.

A quick boot up and I was running it on basically highest settings at 1280x800 minus SSAO and it runs okay. Divinity Original Sin definitely runs and looks better.

Just added it to my Steam wish list. There's a queue of games I still need to go through. Hopefully I can eventually get to this game and actually finish it. The first one... ugh, it was brutally difficult at times.

i know its a different type of game, but in terms of storyline how does this compare to say fallout 3/FNV

I'm only just over 5 hours into it, and it's been a blast. So many choices, morals, and more. It's good, very good. I've gotten lost doing my own thing, and all the side quests so far compared to the main story line.

As a backer, I was excited to finally see this project come to life. As it stands currently, I am happy and proud with the result, but am not really able to play it. I'm currently on a 13" cMBP from 2012, and my aging eyes really struggle with the sheer volume of tiny, muddy, low contrast text used throughout the UI. I look forward to playing this, and Divinity: Original Sin (and Torment: Tides of Numenara!) when I get a proper computer with a 21"+ display, as I backed all three of them.

If only Apple made a decent small form PC that I could hook up to my own monitor, a PC that was built using modern components and a decent GPU. If only.

Hopefully a new mac mini is on its way. Meanwhile, is there any chance of using the external monitor with your current laptop ?

I am a backer too.
It runs fine (steam version) on my Macbook pro 13' Mid 2010.

Load times are long but once the game is started, everything OK.

I had to plug a mouse as I found it too difficult with the trackpad.

Only issue I have is that when I rotate the camera, sometime it does not stop rotating.
