Use case:
Airpods connected to both phone and Apple watch. I put the watch in my bag, put airpods in my ears and get ready for my bike home. I open the Overcast app on the watch and starts playing the podcast I want to listen to. Overcast app is functioning as a remote for the phone, so it is accessing the phone, but when I start a podcast, it plays through the speaker on the phone.
What I expect:
That the watch either 1) detects that the airpods are connected and plays the podcast through them, or 2) that the phone detects them being plugged in and sets them as default output.
All in all, the airpods are wonky. They never seem to connect right to the phone. It works like 50% of the time that they are connected correctly, so this may be an issue with them, not the watch.
Please give me some input if you have some. Thanks. o7
