Are there Apple Watch bands or third party bands to fit 240mm wrist size? I have a 38mm watch and tried the longer sports band on my husband and it was too small. He would probably get the larger watch though.

The Apple 42mm watch has 2 sport bands that are longer, accommodating wrists with a circumference of up to 245mm (the L/XL size choice) and comes in 2 color choices: black band with steel pin and white with silver pin. Here's the web page for it:

They do make 3rd party bands in various size lengths. Just have to look for longer length ones and add one of the adapters to it. Strapped for Time has a number of Long Length and Extra Long Length bands on their site (search for Long Length when looking). When trying to figure out things you'll want to take his wrist measurement and subtract the length of the watch case (38mm or 42mm). Many sites will have "how to measure" on them and will be happy to help with any questions. What length to order can also be affected by how the holes are punched near the end and the fit will be affected by the individual strap lengths (where the buckle will sit on the wrist). Lots of buckle choices out there too to change up things.

Here's a few Long Length Hadley Roma & Hirsch bands as an example from their site: http://strappedfortime.com/shop/hadley-roma-heavy-pad-oil-tanned-leather-watch-band-long-length/

Hope this helps.

There's always the custom bands as well. Will be pricier but you can pick your leather, stitching color, adapters, buckle. There are a number of custom band shops mentioned here on the forum. Strapped for Time does custom work, The Strap Smith, Combat Straps, Stone Creek Straps would be a few other starting places.
