What solution does everyone use when you have a toddler that likes to touch the watch face?

I've been using water mode or the Photos Face.

I wish they had a "Child Mode" where they could move things on the watch screen, but it didn't change anything.

Use the Water Lock mode. That's what I use with my toddler and it works perfectly.

You simply tell the little fellow or gal NO. This is not a toy and it is not for you to touch.
I'm referring to when I'm wearing the watch. No, I don't give my watch or phone to my toddlers to play with. Toddlers are very hands on with everything.

My 11 month old likes to play with my watch and my bracelet while he sits in my lap. I have been putting it in Water Lock mode as well. I will admit, the shift to pressing in the crown and holding it in the new OS has been a lifesaver, he has learned to spin the crown, and get it out of Water mode.

I know some people prefer the spin the crown, and I might have as well if I didn't have the baby.

Agreed! The push crown unlock method is much better and she can't figure it out either.

A solution to what? Do you not want them touching the watch or do you want an interactive experience so they can touch the watch?

My 11 month old baby was actually responding to text messages and I was afraid he would find a way to call the police... The problem is there is no "kids" mode that locks selected features to prevent that, while still allowing him to play with it.

I thought my original post was clear but maybe not.

I use the water lock feature most of the time. I was just curious what everyone else was using.

I wish there was a generic lock mode (no water), that either does the same thing or where things can move but nothing can get changed. Wishful thinking probably.

And you are allowing an 11 month old baby to play with your smart watch exactly why?

You can swipe up from control center and select the school time button. It changes Lock Screen and prevents it from being changed on the screen

Although this is another option, I still think Under Water Lock is better. It does the same, while allowing us parents to still see our desired watch face and our complications.

I would like to point out that even though school time was there on the previous watchOS, it was hidden on my wife's watch, I had to turn it on. This is not to say it isn't useful, just to point out to people unaware of this option, that they have actually had it for a while, and it may be hidden.
