Hey guys, just wondered if anyone else noticed how some colours react differently.
I have 3 official sport bands. Blue, Midnight Blue and Black.
The Blue which is that bright baby blue colour, literally I have no problem with it, I wear it 90% of the time, if I went to the gym I would wear that.
It feels like a completely different material than the MN Blue and Black. I take off my blue band and it will fall completely flat whereas the other two will have formed more around my wrist.
And with wear and tear too, the blue has almost no marks, the other two are terrible. My black band is the worst. Even by touch alone, the blue will have a different feel, it has a more smoother texture and does stick to the skin, but the other two do.

Anyone else have issues like this, what are the other lighter colours like?

Yes! I thought i was the only one who felt the difference ;o

I have the same Blue and Black bands as you, the Blue is so smooth, flexible and feels great on, but the Black feels more solid and holds the rounded shape after i've taken off the watch. I haven't got any other sports bands yet, but i'm hoping to get the PRODUCT Red band and the Green band at some point though, hopefully those will be more like the Blue in terms of being more flat and flexible!

If they weight different, they are different. Likely color/material apply on top of band cause the weight and feel different.

From imore link, http://www.imore.com/which-apple-watch-steel-band-should-you-get
11g different between black and white, and I would imaging other color could have different weight due to different color/material apply on top.

42mm band weights, from lightest to heaviest:
  • Classic buckle: 19g
  • Leather loop: 30g/33g
  • Black sport band: 40g
  • Milanese loop: 41g
  • White sport band: 51g
  • Steel link bracelet: 75g

I have noticed this too, space grey watch, but then I bought the white, green and red bands. The white and green are the softest and seem so show the least wear. Black is the coarsest and shows more wear. I never thought about the weight, but that is an interesting point.

I have 6 bands. Black, Midnight, Blue, Green, Red & White. The blue and green bands are stiffer and more 'plasticy' feeling, while the Red, White, Black & Midnight are softer and stretchier. I prefer the latter because its more comfortable, but because of the softer material, the bands have stretched out over time and I have to select a tighter notch choice.

My white band is my number one choice, followed by midnight and red. I have a SG Sport watch incase anyone was interested.

Are the white bands holding up well after all these months? Any discolorations?

There is some discoloration. The entire band is starting to turn a tad darker. I try to wash it once every 2-3 days. I also use a magic eraser on some areas of the band. Seems to help a little. But you can only really tell when you are not wearing it. The tip of the watch band that gets tucked under stays the true color, while the rest of the band darkens evenly. So the only way to notice is to look at the part that is tucked under.
