I've come across this great site that lets you watch TV shows online. It's still beta but they are in the process of adding more channels too. Some channels like food network, discovery channel, sony, nbc, weather channel and more stuff. I stopped watching TV but this is really cool.

Interesting, but it's a bunch of channels I would never watch. Oh well.

Yeah. Basically the same for me. But I used watch food network and discovery channel just for entertainment. And I don't have to be near a TV anymore, since I don't have a TV in my dorm.

It's US only, it's says it's unavailable in my area.

Yeah it's only for the US currently. Just like hulu.

Thanks for the link. I just watched an episode of "Have Gun Will Travel" which I haven't seen since I was a kid in the 50's. I think I am going to like this channel.

Noooo i'm sick of these websites not working in Canada!

The only ones i've found to work at mtv.ca and mtv2.ca

anyone know any others that work in canada that are worth watching?

Eh. 90% of the stuff on there is 5 minutes or less, not true TV programming. Terrible speeds also, I get repeated "Bandwidth limit" errors on my 8mb connection.

Huh? What are you talking about? All of them are TV-length shows. I have a 5MB connection. I did not encounter the message ever. I watched 1 historical movie about John Wilks Booth that I think was an hour and a half and five other fifteen to thirty minutes shows.

There is only one grouping (it has "mini" in its name) that I see that is not full length shows, and even that group includes some that are full length. I only have a 3Mb dsl connection and never saw those errors.
