They won't offer you more features
however the Gear S2 and above, and the Android Wear watch models work with the iPhone

The garmin watches also work well with iPhones. Guess it depends on what you want to use the watch for.

That's the biggest thing. It basically restricts and prohibits about half of the functions than Android watch can do on the iPhone.

Yes,true. The garmin watches are most of all fitness/training tools,for athletes,swimmers and people doing outdoor activities.
