Watching Videos On The New iPad Pro?

Intersted in getting a new iPad Pro but is it still a 4:3 Aspect Ratio?

This has always held me back from buying because what is that like for watching Netflix, YouTube and catch up TV / Streaming TV to an iPad?

Big Bars?

Zoomed in Video cropped?

What are people’s experiences?

Will the edge to edge screen be better for video?

4:3 may not be the best aspect for modern video but it is excellent for reading IMX.

For real world comparison, at home I have a 43in widescreen TV which is about 8-9 ft from where I sit. Visually the screen on the 12.9 iPad Pro (with letterbox) is the same or actually slightly bigger when sat in my lap.

It’s a great device.
