Hi,
Newbie poster - long time reader.

I have an issue where I am missing second seconds digit on the Modular Ultra watchface.
Anyone have similar problem or a solution?

Only for the hour/min/seconds combination that are "broad".
PS haven't noticed the faint red lines in the bottom right side corner... any ideas? Could this be related?

You definitely have a problem…… Mine shows the full seconds not just the single digit as in your example.

Tip1: Restart watch and see if that reactivates the watch face.
Tip2: If that does not work; Edit the watch face, change Style to a different digital time. Let that run then edit again and change back to the Style you originally were using….. Does it now show both second digits?

Thanks for your reply.
I have not edited the watchface.
It (oc) began with the update 10 - and persisted on 10.0.1.

I have restarted and even wiped the watch multiple times.
Nothing helps.

I have tried other designs as soon as I change back to hh:mm:ss it is back.

Please note that the seconds are visible when the time is at a "narrower" set.

What do you mean a narrower set? Something is very off with that image because all of the icons look too big. Somewhat bigger than how it looks on my watch face certainly. Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me of course.

when the time is 16:27:41 there is "room" for all digits - but when the time is 09:36:32 the last digit is invisible.
The previous pictures are screen shots from the watch.

After wipe and reset the complications are back to not working - and I suspect the digit will be invisible once the clock turns 20-something
It may be an error limited to 24h-....

oh well now its completely f***ed.

Note how it seems the digit is behind the bottom complications

Same exact issue here. Wonder if it is a strictly Danish issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

Know this is an old post, but did this issue get solved? Got my ultra Yesterday and it worked fine, today I got the missing digit issue as well, I’m from Denmark as well

I don’t think it was ever fixed. Have just adjusted my face to not show seconds.
Still do think it is the nicest stock watch face.

my issue has been resolved.
I am not certain if it was a fw update or reset/unpairing that fixed it. But it did eventually disappear.
I am from Denmark, and from the posts it seems the problem is somehow related to our location.

Yeah Giro i changed it, would have been Nice if it worked, my job is Linda dependent on the seconds, i know that you can get that otherwise (as i have now) but it would Nice if it just worked. Instead of using spot where other things could be showing. Jkolsen: thats good news…. So theres hope. It IS weird that only DK is affedtes, as seems to be the case. And more weird that it worked Yesterday…. I havent done anything to Watch since

This is weird, when i came Home from work, watchface Worked just fine. All i did was make another face and used that.

I've had this exact same issue for months now, and still today. I'm based in Finland but I'd be surprised if that's related at all. Editing the face doesn't seem to help, so I just removed the seconds completely. Hopefully it gets solved with watchOS 11.

The issue persists!
I have had periods where the problem went away, only for it to return again and again.
Have any of you found a solution or work-a-round?
I have tried to delete the watch face and make a new, it worked on an earlier wOS, but it does not seem to do the trick now.
I am on wOS 10.6. in Denmark. (iPhone 13 Pro iOS 17.6.1)

This is the deal. The issue only shows itself when the current time uses numbers wide enough to push the last digit down. Two workarounds that I’ve found:

  • Use 12-hour clock instead of 24-hour clock. I guess the issue could still happen here, but it’s much less likely given the first digit is removed or is the slim “1”. I’m using this workaround.
  • Remove the watch face bezel. I’ve never seen the issue during 1+ years of no bezel and with a 24-hour clock.
BTW, the bug is still there in watchOS 11.1.

Two days old Ultra 2, and the same issue here (Denmark). Hoped the new update would fix it, but it didn´t.
As mentioned above, the issue only show when the clock reaches 20. And the solution mentioned by @kronborg is working fine (remove the watch face bezel).

I have been in contact with Apple Support over the last two months- and have still not found a solution!

Well, after being in touch with Apple Support for almost three months and gathering numerous logs for the technicians at Apple, it is now concluded that there are no technical issues, but it is a glitch in the FW/Watch OS.
So for now there is no solution.
We will have to be patient and wait for a fix in a coming bug update of WatchOS.
