Hi everyone, I know the chances are bad for water damaged phones but I thought I'd ask anyway:
Got a little water on the top of the phone, opened it up and set it in front of a fan for an hour. It powered back on and so I used it (I know, big mistake).
Anyway, so the situation now is that the phone powers on (since the silence rocker activates the vibration, and when I connect to laptop, iTunes recognizes it) but the screen is completely black.
Strangely enough, I accidentally activated the emergency call and was even able to hear the dialing button sounds as I pressed it while the screen was completely black.
I set it on front of the fan for a bit longer. I also cleaned off all cables and ports with isopropyl. Still no dice.
Any other last ditch things I can try? Really don't have the funds to replace the phone wholesale.
